I have thoroughly enjoyed the hobby of keeping bees. From reading “Beekeeping for Dummies” to attending a local beekeeping class and now managing four hives, this hobby has given me so much to be thankful for. I get to purposefully slow down – to smell the scent near the hives, to listen to the buzzing of the worker bees, and to taste the sweet gift from the hives. I love to share my small batch harvests with others! I only take a few frames at a time and yield about 100-150 oz per harvest.
